Day 3

Route: Tain to Glenmoriston - 66 Miles

I am trying my best to write todays blog but I must admit that I'm at least half asleep right now... Please bare with me!

First thing this morning we had our first glimpse of the renowned midges of scotland. The warm weather mixed with the lack of wind meant they tried to eat us alive whilst we packed up our gear and attempted to leave Tain. We also had the pleasure of a Robin called Carly, named

mainly due to its unwillingness to

have its photo taken...

The plan was to make it somewhere

alongside Loch Ness today and I'm

glad to report that we managed that.

A hill that seemed to go on and on

was one of quite a few moments that

challenged us both physically and

Paul mentally..... He nearly fell asleep

whilst scaling Everest's little brother

which was rather amusing for me!!

We have made it a total of 66 miles

today to a lovely B&B in a town called

Glenmoriston which is 28 miles or

so from Fort William.

Wildlife watch includes...

Carly the Robin

7 seals

A fox (stuffed)

No hairy cows

Some normal cows

Total Miles Covered: 934
