Day 5

Route: Glencoe to Tarbet - 56 Miles

Little Prince update

Well what a day for our Ginger Royal, first of all he is too tired to “think funny” so is not taking his turn writing the blog.

His new Nan told him off for not finishing his breakfast and the gave us more food than we could carry for the day and a donation for the charity thingy so thanks to all at the Honeysuckle Cottage B&B, Glencoe.

Food update

Fried Breakfast

Pie and Veg

Haggis and Chips (yes haggis I’m

a proper little international playboy

when I want to be)

Six miles straight up this morning

caused some choice language and

some previously unsure places

catching up with the rest of our

bodies. Only to be replaced by little

cries of wonder as we had Glencoe

unfold before our very eyes. After the

weather over the last couple of days

I can heartily recommend blazing

sunshine for seeing the best of

Scotland.

Fabulous ride today over the Glen

then dropping down to Loch Lomond

to finish.

Unfortunately we are in the hottest

room in the world (including your

Finnish pine ones) and have to keep

the windows shut as we are on full

midge alert.

Glasgow tomorrow so look out for

fried Mars bar tomorrow.

Oh and my panniers broke again so

it looks like the tent is too heavy for

them so it will be posted back

tomorrow and its B&B heaven for us

from now on.

Paul
